CHOOSING YOUR INSTALLER

An installation is only as good as its fit.

A replacement appliance can involve more than the opening it slides into. Cabinetry, panels, countertop cutouts, ventilation, and utility connections all belong in the installation plan.

Last Mile is especially suited to installations with those added challenges. We also welcome straightforward installations when our experience and approach are the right fit for your project.

What to keep in mind

  • Ask whether the installer reviews the requirements for your specific model.
  • Ask who will handle any cabinetry, ventilation, or supporting trade work.
  • Look for a clear scope that explains what is included and what still needs to be confirmed.

MANUFACTURER REQUIREMENTS & WARRANTY

Installed to specification. Assured in writing.

We plan and complete appliance installations to the manufacturer’s specifications for your model. That means reviewing the installation instructions alongside the actual conditions in your home.

We give you written assurance that our installation will not void your appliance’s manufacturer warranty. If a proposed exception could affect that coverage, we explain it in writing before work begins, so you can decide how to proceed.

This assurance concerns our installation work. The manufacturer’s warranty terms still determine the appliance’s product coverage. Any additional coverage offered through a factory installation program depends on the product and program terms.

What to keep in mind

  • Model-specific installation instructions guide the work.
  • Our installation and warranty assurance is provided in writing.
  • Any exception that could affect coverage is disclosed before the work begins.

CABINETRY & APPLIANCE FIT

A new appliance can belong in your existing kitchen.

If the new appliance does not fit the existing cabinetry, replacing the whole kitchen is usually not necessary. We can modify cabinets, create appliance panels, or build a new cabinet to suit the installation.

We work toward a finish that blends with your kitchen, considering profiles, proportions, hardware, and color. We explain the matching options and any limitations before you commit.

What to keep in mind

  • Have the existing opening measured against the proposed appliance.
  • Consider door movement, surrounding surfaces, and panel requirements.
  • Discuss what can be preserved, modified, or rebuilt.

EXPERIENCE & VALUE

A sensible investment in getting it right.

We bring more than 25 years of trade experience to the choices that affect your home. Our aim is an affordable experience: skilled work, practical solutions, and a scope you understand.

Tell us your priorities and the budget you are comfortable discussing. We can explain the options and tradeoffs, then help you decide what makes sense for your project.

What to keep in mind

  • Compare the work included in each estimate, as well as the price.
  • Ask about custom modifications and supporting trades before installation day.
  • Confirm whether licensing or permits are required for the planned work, and who will arrange them.
  • Choose an approach that suits your home, your expectations, and your budget.

YOUR FIRST CONVERSATION

A few ideas are enough to say hello.

You don’t need to know which appliance fits—just what you want to replace or add. Tell us what you have in mind, and we’ll help walk through the options.

We start with a phone conversation. If the work is a fit, we meet you at home and take the time to explore options in your actual space, with your existing layout, cabinetry, and budget in view.

We bring ideas and practical suggestions into your home. We’re here to plan the work, not sell you an appliance. We connect the plan with local resources and help coordinate the details that lead to delivery day.

What to keep in mind

  • Tell us what you want to replace or add; you don’t need to choose a model first.
  • Explore options in your home, using the space and budget you have.
  • Agree on the installation plan and the local resources needed before delivery day.
